Yellow Birch

45mm Zeiss Planar G

Betula alleghaniensis on the West Fork of the Greenbriar. Sometimes size does matter. There is another dimension to this image that is suggested here, but you need to see a largish print to really see it. If I ever decide it is worth having another show this will be in it.

45mm Zeiss Planar G, Sony A7r, Lr 6, Ps CS6.

Roaring Plains

A yellow birch, Betula alleghaniensis, surrounded by young red spruce, Picea rubens.

28-90mm Leica Vario-Elmarit ASPH, Nikon 800e, Lr4, Ps CS6.

Roaring Plains Wilderness

Red Creek

The obligatory fall color shot. These are mostly yellow birch, Betula alleghaniensis. Red Creek is very low.

28-90mm Leica Vario-Elmarit, Nikon 800e, Lr4, Ps CS6.
