Roaring Plains Wilderness

On October 18, 2013 by Mark - Highlands, Tree Portrait, Wilderness

…somewhere just outside of the roar. This is on the mountainside a little over the edge from the open flat top land that the weather roars through. I think this is probably where the snow really piles up after being blown off the top. Yellow birch, Betula alleghaniensis, and Rhododendron maximum. I don’t imagine this will gather even the minimal interest that my postings usually get, but it appeals to me.

50mm Zeiss Makro-Planar ZF.2, Nikon 800e, Lr4, Ps CS6.

Allegheny Front, Antietam National Battlefield, Bear Rocks, Betula alleghaniensis, Canon 5D Mk II, Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, markmusephotographs.com, Monongahela National Forest, Nikon D800e, red spruce, Rhododendron maximum, Roaring Plains Wilderness, yellow birch, Zeiss Camera Lenses
