Hawthorn, West Fork Greenbriar
This is one of four images I will exhibit in the In Black and White show at the Ice House in Berkeley Springs. This image will be 24 inches long. It will be an interesting show, curated by Rebecca Jones and including many different media. The exhibit runs from January 15 through February 28, with the reception on Saturday, January 16. If you are somewhat local I hope you will consider coming to the reception. See you there?

Don’t Know Where
I have been trying to locate this, but without success. It was one of my extended rambling trips through the Monongahela National Forest.

Rumsey Moonrise
This is a composite image. The brightness range is too great for any camera I know of to hold detail in the moon and have any other detail this late at night. Near the Rumsey Monument, Shepherdstown.

West Fork of the Greenbriar
Another yellow birch, Betula alleghaniensis. I really enjoyed my visits to this valley this year. All except for the no-see-ums, which this valley seems to produce in abundance.

Yellow Birch
Betula alleghaniensis on the West Fork of the Greenbriar. Sometimes size does matter. There is another dimension to this image that is suggested here, but you need to see a largish print to really see it. If I ever decide it is worth having another show this will be in it.
