This is the fourth of 10 images that will make up this group. I like seeing how the shapes emerge then morph from frame to frame until they are no longer recognizable.
The entire group was made in less than four minutes as the storm swept in and unfolded over me. These exposures were made at the Crossroads on Friday, May 10 2013, between 6:24 and 6:28 PM.

This is the third of 10 images that will make up this group. These first three images were exposed within seconds of one another, and within the first minute.

Here comes a storm. Except for this intro image I am going to post them in the order they were taken. Sort of a story. These were some of the most dramatic clouds I can remember seeing in person. Stay tuned!

A painterly treatment for the romantics among us, and admittedly I am.

Curt, at the Sam Abell photo workshop recently held in Shepherdstown. The venue was Shepherd University. This was from a raw file taken with my little Zeiss equipped Sony, a truly remarkable large sensor — but tiny — point and shoot. And to keep Sam happy, this is the aspect ratio as selected and shot in camera (I almost never crop).
