Tupelo Tapestry

Nyssa sylvatica near White Post, Virginia. These trees are amazing. They are big… the biggest tupelos I have seen. And healthy… look at the branch structure on them! I want to learn more about their history. Somebody has been looking out for these trees. How else would they have been spared during the construction of the buildings behind them and landscaping and farming around them? Not only were they spared, but they thrive.
