Jazz at the Museum

MuseumJazz_DSC9287

Overflow seating – the auditorium was full. I wish I could remember names… this lady plays all kinds of reeds. I have seen her play with Don Oehser and company a number of times at the Mechlinburg, but this is the first time I’ve heard her in a jazz trio. It was terrific. Some of the old standards were a little too old and a little too standard for my taste, but everything was soulful and well executed with a very high level of musicianship. At the Washington County Museum of the Arts.
