Another Bridge
Another shot from the same day. The fog came rapidly and cleared out even more rapidly. This shot was earlier than the previously posted one… by four minutes. I don’t believe I even moved my tripod.

The Sigma Merrill continues to surprise and impress me. When used within its fairly narrow ideal parameters the results are stunning. If Sigma would make a full-frame, interchangeable-lens, and mirrorless camera with this sensor technology it would blow away every other 35mm style camera on the market for image quality. Detail rendering is crisp with presence, and is very photographic

The Potomac River from the Rumsey Monument in Shepherdstown. The latest Shepherdstown bridge is the graceful arc. The river has claimed many a bridge over the years.

Hairy River
My kind of chaos. Actually it might appear to be random, but it is not at all. This is another of those You can’t see it from here because it is too small images. The first thing this image said to me was MAKE A BIG PRINT AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY. Coming dear. This was a shot across the Potomac just a little way upstream of Knott Island.
