Just back from my recent trip to Western Pennsylvania and the Wilderness 50th celebration at the Crary Gallery in Warren. I simply can’t say enough about the kindness, warmth, and generosity of the folks associated with the gallery and the people of Warren in general. It was a very special visit.

This is a side view of the spillway of the Kinzua Dam on the Allegheny River, a short distance upriver from Warren. I have some pretty mixed feelings about dams in general, this one included, but they do present some interesting visual material. I have another image of this spillway that I will be posting next.

Now a little shameless self promotion: My four images will continue to be exhibited until the end of September along with many other fine images from the likes of Craig Blacklock, Clyde Butcher, Kevin Ebi, Scot Miller, David Muench, and a few other equally fine photographers. It has truly been an honor!
