House of Odd Angles – Antietam

Miller farm house, Antietam National Battlefield, Maryland. For the photographers out there, this is a pixel-shift image – a combination of four exposures where the sensor is shifted one pixel for each exposure to record complete RGB data in each pixel location. At 1:1 viewing I can barely perceive an improvement over a single frame Bayer exposure. Nuances of texture seem to be most improved, though so far it seems slight. I would have to make a print in excess of 30 inches before the difference became meaningful.

90mm Zeiss Sonnar G, Sony a7R3, Sony PixelShift to DNG, Lr 6, Ps CS6.
