Cacapon River Oak

15mm Voightlander Super Wide-Heliar III

On my most recent trip to the Highlands of West Virginia where I met up with photo-buddy Bob Clark for several days of shooting. On the way home I stopped along the Cacapon River to enjoy the spectacular afternoon light. The word Cacapon is of Native American origin, meaning medicine waters. This is something I understand. The Cacapon River valley is quite special.
