This is a test, in a way. Not sure this is the best subject for this test. The new iPads and other devices with high resolution displays are rendering some images poorly. Apparent detail is low even for images that have plenty of resolution. I see this problem with my images on my new iPad. I have read that jpg files made with progressive selected avoid this problem. So this one was made for progressive display. I must say I am skeptical, but we shall see.
