I returned last night from a Tillman Crane platinum printmaking workshop. This is a scene from my morning commute from Stokes State Forest where I camped, to Peter’s Valley Craft Center – the host for the workshop. The workshop was excellent! I wish I could share some of my prints with you here. Those of you who are local will be able to see some at the Bridge Gallery once they are framed.

This image was made with my new favorite lens, a 45mm Zeiss Tessar from the Contax line. Most people would call this a pancake lens because of its tiny size. I carry it because I love the image quality.
