No HDR – March 2010

Near Sam Black Church, West Virginia. The sun had risen just enough to strike the trees on this peculiar little round hill. I was surprised that I was able to hold detail in the setting moon while keeping the foreground open enough to be rich with texture and color.

This odd but interesting landscape warrants more exploration. If only it was closer.

Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 70-200 ƒ4L, Aperture 3.0, Photoshop CS5.
