A colony of New York ferns (Thelypteris noveboracensis) under a tree at dusk in Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. I’m still amazed at what digital cameras can do in low light. When I shot this it was so dark I had to be careful I didn’t trip over things, yet I had to darken the raw file considerably to get this.
